A brand new Kentico Partner Program launched last month, with the major change being that the program now offers discounts and benefits based upon a points system, rewarding more active partners with higher discounts and increased benefits.
Partners collect points for various activities, and are assigned a level based upon the number of points collected. This level is then used to determine discounting on future Kentico purchases. The discounting can be significant and a Gold Certified Partner will now receive a 30% discount on Kentico purchases.
The program appears to be very well thought out and takes all Kentico partners into account, big and small. Allowing partners to gain points for activities, as well as sales, meaning that a passionate Kentico advocate is now given the same opportunities as an established operation bringing in a high volume of sales.
The new program also provides a heap of other enhancements and additions, including a designated account manager, targeted marketing materials, invitations to partner only events, early access to new blog posts and online material, quick and responsive technical support, a listing in the Kentico partner directory for Certified and Gold Certified Partners, and a new website - the Partner Portal - to allow partners to manage their participation.
This is a great initiative and one I really look forward to watching mature.
